We are also thrilled to welcome Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Jesse Eisinger as our key note speaker at the 2018 International Conference.  Jesse’s riveting book “The Chickenshit Club” takes a hard look at the US Department of Justice and its approach to (not) prosecuting companies and individuals in the decade since the financial crisis of 2008.  He describes the damage he believes has been done to the US public interest by the politicisation of Supreme Court decisions, political appointments at the top of the prosecuting authorities and the “revolving door” between these authorities and “white collar” Wall Street firms.  Whether or not you agree with his critique, there are fascinating lessons for UK professionals to reflect on as we contemplate the development of DPAs in this country and elsewhere in the world.  We are also delighted that Mukul Chawla QC and our Chair Mark Fenhalls QC will participate in the audience Q & A/debate that will follow.    Further information about Jesse’s book can be found at
