We are delighted to announce that our guest speakers at the FLA End of Year Review will be:

Lord Garnier QC of 4 Pump Court – a highly experienced silk whose practice includes corporate advisory and financial services work, corporate crime and international human rights. His extensive experience in practice is underpinned by a parallel career in politics, as an MP (1992-2017) and as HM Solicitor General (2010-2012). He is now in the House of Lords.

Peter Pope of Jenner & Block – a partner in the firm’s Investigations, Compliance and Defence Practice, Peter has recently returned from a secondment to the SFO, where he served as International Liaison and Investigations Advisor.

Sue Thackeray of Kingsley Napley – with over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of commercial litigation for claimants and defendants, Sue’s particular expertise includes civil fraud involving complex, multi-jurisdictional international commercial litigation (often where criminal, restraint or regulatory proceedings co-exist) including bribery and corruption, collective investment schemes, Ponzi and advance fee fraud schemes.

We are very grateful to them for sharing their experience and wisdom with us, and to Osborne Clarke for hosting this event.
